Ga Thespian Troupe

Joining VOCE’s Georgia Thespian Society will open up even more opportunitites for your growing artist. This troupe is open to 6th – 12th grade students. We will hold inductions once a year and inducted members will have access to many benefits (see below). If your performer becomes a member of our troupe and then moves to a school that has a troupe, they will be able to transfer into that troupe.

The Thespian Society is an educational and service based organization. Students will need to fulfill service hours and participation in meetings and activities that will be provided by VOCE or through outside arts activities.

THESPIAN FEES – One time Induction fee of $35 and annual dues of $30.

Benefits of Joining a Thespian Troupe

• Lifetime membership in ITS (International Thespian Society) for every inducted student
• Access to Thespian programs, events (such as ThesCon and Jr. ThesCon), scholarships, and resources like Dramatics.org
• Participation in the Thespy Awards, the highest level of achievement in school theatre
• Induction into the ITS signals to colleges and employers their leadership, service, and extracurricular achievements
