8th -12th – The Broadway Belles
The Broadway Belles is VOCE’s high level performance group. This group is open to 8th -12th grade ladies who are currently taking private lessons with one of our VOCE instructors, or participate in our group voice lessons through Advanced Voices.
Where our group and private voice lessons focus on the training of the voice 1st and the performance of the song 2nd, The Belles is strictly a place where our more advanced and older students can have more of an opportunity to work on performance skills through solos, duets, trios, and small ensemble numbers. They perform predominantly musical theatre, pop, and vocal jazz music. Each Belle is given their set list to learn and has access to rehearsal materials for outside practice. While rehearsing, Belles will have the opportunity to regularly work with microphones as this is an important part of CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music) training for performance.
Singers are expected to know their music for rehearsals so our time is spent sculpting performance, not learning notes. The rehearsal commitment is small, but the expectation of singers and their preparedness is high. This is an elite group of vocalists who are highly committed to improving their performance skills.

Where: 118 N. Belair Rd Suite 3 (behind Gary’s Hamburgers at N. Belair and Columbia Rd)
When: Wednesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm
Costs include: $75
Performance Attire: All Black with accents of VOCE blue and yellow
Open House & Paperwork Dates: Monday August 1, 3:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday August 2, 3:00pm – 7:00pm & Saturday August 6, 10:00am-2:00pm OR call the office for an appointment with parent and singer.
Performance Requirements: Fall Concert Performance (with other VOCE groups), Fall Belles Showcase, Spring Belles Showcase, Spring Cabaret Night, Spring Concert Performance (with other VOCE groups), Invited performance events.
